HelpSystems is looking for a Security Analyst to join our Security & Compliance Operations team with Digital Defense Inc. Within the Security & Compliance Operations team, the Security Analyst's primary role is to perform penetration testing and remote social engineering engagements for our clients. This is a full-time penetration testing position with an attractive salary and benefits. The ideal candidate has a strong desire for excellence, is a creative problem-solver, and has the aptitude and motivation to learn and apply new technologies. Additional engagements, such as onsite social engineering, web application penetration testing, and physical security reviews may be assigned as the Security Analyst goes through internal and external qualification processes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Perform research, analysis, and testing of computer/network vulnerabilities.
  • Deliver comprehensive and precise reports for technical audiences and non-technical audiences.
  • Participate in client briefings at onset and conclusion of engagements. Client briefings will primarily be accomplished remotely, but may occur at client locations on occasion.
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in utilizing the Digital Defense Frontline.Cloud interface as well as various open source and commercially-available penetration testing tools.
  • Assist clients with questions regarding vulnerability specifics and remediation actions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Programming, Computer Science, or related IT field. May be waived based upon relevant experience
  • Prefer 3 years+ experience in the security industry
  • Knowledge of the following tools/technologies is desired; Windows, Kali Linux, VMware, Metasploit, BurpSuite
  • Preferred candidate will hold at least one industry recognized certification
  • Self-motivated and able to manage time to meet engagement deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as a demonstrated ability to work effectively on a team.
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills to work with colleagues and client audiences.
  • Conducts self in a professional manner and adheres to company procedures and policies.
  • High integrity, honesty, and customer service when interacting with employees, prospects, and customers.
