Position: Litigation Legal Assistant
Summary: The Litigation Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in all aspects of litigation proceedings. The ideal candidate will possess 3 years of previous litigation experience, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support during all phases of litigation proceedings
- Assist in drafting and preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible
- Coordinate scheduling, including court appearances, depositions, meetings, and client consultations
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders
- Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness coordination, and courtroom logistics
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal with a focus on litigation is required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Additional Information:
- Direct Hire / Permanent Position
- Location: Manchester, NH (100% onsite)
- Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 depending on experience
- Schedule: 8am-5pm (Monday - Friday)
