Intellectual Property Counsel

Beacon Hill Legal has an urgent need for an experience Intellectual Property Attorney to join a sophisticated law firm in Princeton, NJ.

Qualified candidates must have 3+ years of Intellectual Property experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or life sciences field and have an advanced degree in chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, or similar discipline. Candidates must be available to work onsite and be actively registered to practice before the U.S Patent and Trademark Office.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of IP experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or life sciences field
- Must be actively registered with the U.S Patent and Trademark Office
- Must have experience drafting, reviewing and revising intellectual property related agreements.
- Must have experience conducting patentability, landscape and freedom to operate searches.
- Proven writing, editing and proofreading skills required.
- Must be comfortable preparing and prosecuting patent applications and providing IP guidance on IP filing and prosecuting strategies.
- Keen attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to multitask.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
