The Role:
We are hiring a Zero Emission Fleet Advisor to join our Trucks and Off-road team. Our project manager will provide case support and concierge services to participating fleets interested in transitioning to zero-emission vehicles. You will support and interact with medium and heavy-duty fleets across California looking to learn more about potential pathways and resources that aid a fleet in its transition to zero-emission technologies. Additionally, this role will attend in-person and virtual outreach events quarterly as a Cal Fleet Advisor representative in an effort to educate and recruit fleets into the program. You will provide outreach, administrative and technical support and interact with related staff at CALSTART, as well as external stakeholders such as California trucking fleets, dealers and OEMs as needed.
What you will do:
- Support fleet engagement team on numerous administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, client follow-ups and monitoring of the fleet support inbox
- Support medium and heavy-duty trucking fleets in their transition to zero-emission technology by helping to connect the fleet with the appropriate stakeholders and move them through the Cal Fleet Advisor process
- Lead the development of accessible and targeted resources for California
- Support community-based organizations on outreach and technical assistance to fleets in their respective communities, with occasional travel to community and industry events within California
- Support project management tasks for a portfolio of California fleets and following up on key project deliverables for each specific case
What you will bring to the table:
- We are looking for 2 years of experience in customer service, sales or client relations
- Experience working in either Logistics, Transportation, Nonprofit Administration or Government Relations
- Experience in customer database entry and management
- Knowledge of effective customer service tactics and salesforce data entry
- Basic understanding of zero-emission vehicle landscape and the available incentives
- Case management
- Optional training or coursework in Spanish, Business, Operations, Communications or other related field
Compensation:
CALSTART values transparency and strives to provide as much information regarding compensation as possible. The complete salary range for this role is $62,000-$81,000. Pay for this role will typically be from $62,000-$68,000 as we determine pay based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, education, internal equity and other factors relevant to job
