Web Content Writer

Our client is seeking a Web Content Writer for a long-term contract engagement that will likely run 12+ Months!

This individual will collaborate with various business units to understand the story being conveyed around products and solutions as well as work closely with UX Design and SEO teams.

A successful applicant will have excellent communications skills and a strong background in writing for the web.

Key Responsibilities:


Work with various business units to develop website copy (technical and marketing) around our various products and solutions
Partner with SEO team to implement keyword strategies for the web
Follow SEO best practices when writing new website content
Assist with web writing needs as part of an upcoming website integration
Conduct external research about our markets, trends, and competitive messaging to ensure our stories are well-positioned within the external narrative


Experience and Skills:


Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields
7-10 years of relevant experience within a technology or science-based B2B setting, or supporting such organizations within an agency role (advertising/marketing agency experience a plus)
Engineering background not required, but must be able to grasp complicated technical concepts and make them relatable to less technical audiences while preserving the core insights of interest to engineers
Demonstrated experience with brand positioning, aligning multi-level messages, and adapting content to multiple audiences
Excellent communication and professional skills required to interface with various business units
Preference would be to see a portfolio of writing samples that shows both breadth and depth, preferably including more technical and non-technical writing
