Position summary

Warehouse Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling of the warehouse's over-all operations. Coordinate/direct warehouse activities related to Shipping, Inventory Control, Receiving and General Inspection through supervision of direct reports. Seek out and implement process improvements.
Responsibilities

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for personnel activities of direct reports including staffing, training, performance evaluations, and career development including setting employee objectives linked to business initiatives and other key performance indicators. Ensure compliance with current federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ensure Inventory Control, Receiving, Shipping and General Receiving Inspection are running in the most efficient manner.
  • Control inventory accuracy by managing cycle count schedule.
  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget.
  • Manage multiple warehouse locations.
  • Update SOP/QSP owned by the Materials department as needed.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in a regulated (preferably medical) industry in the Materials department.
  • Minimum of 5 years providing direct supervision to materials personnel.
  • Minimum of 5 years' Forklift experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years ERP experience.
  • Ability to use and train others on ERP System software.
  • Ability to manage a team and to work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to analyze information, including reports.
  • Experience with managing multiple warehouse locations.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities for improvements and implement.
