WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Location: Gas City, IN
Salary: $85,000.00 USD Annually - $100,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Warehouse Manager for their food manufacturing facility located in Indiana.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain precise inventory levels, meeting company standards and goals.

• Ensure timely loading and unloading of trucks.
• Participate in month-end or similar inventory projects, providing accurate and reliable counts.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., industrial trucks, forklifts, scissor lifts) to move products efficiently within the warehouse.
• Assemble customer orders and monitor material flow.
• Maintain accurate records and perform precise counts and stage materials for counting and inspecting.
• Supply production with high-quality ingredients and timely packaging.
• Fill out quality-related records and follow pre-set procedures.
• Identify process improvements and address discrepancies within warehouse operations.
• Train new associates on warehouse policies and procedures.
• Contribute to achieving overall company goals (e.g., production, sales).
• Clear communication for training and collaboration.

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in warehouse shipping and receiving.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Hold a valid forklift operator certification or license.
• Ability to perform accurate calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Capable of simple unit conversions.
• Strong problem solving skills to address and resolve issues quickly.
• Train new associates and assess their progress.
• Ensure safety protocols are in place and strictly followed
• Familiarity with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and OSHA requirements.
• Knowledgeable of and experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS
