The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

The Vice President - International Finance will oversee all financial planning and reporting for the International Operations of Canada, the UK, Germany and Mexico.

What will you do?

  • Develop and execute short and long term strategic and tactical initiatives to ensure that the financial needs of the International Operations (Canada, UK, Germany, and Mexico) are met.
  • Oversee all financial planning and reporting for the International Operations including, but not limited to budgeting, profit & loss, balance sheet, earnings, and cash flow.
  • Oversee all financial areas to ensure compliance with company policy and all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure alignment of the Finance Team's strategic initiatives with those of the broader organization.
  • Seek out and implement new tools or workflows that streamline processes, increase efficiency, and improve the overall business experience.
  • Use predictive models to ascertain potential impact of industry trends and develop proactive recommendations to ensure appropriate preparation and response.
  • Oversee team management and tracking of forecasting schedules to ensure milestones are achieved by divisional management.
  • Develop and execute analysis of business initiatives and makes recommendations based on results.
  • Provide in-depth analysis to Senior VP of Finance, identifying strengths/opportunities and providing recommendations.
  • Oversee the internal control, accounting, leasing, tax, insurance, and treasury functions of the company ensuring compliance with company policy and all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Understand and evaluate external economic forces that impact the organization and uses predictive models to ascertain potential impact. Communicate results throughout management to ensure appropriate preparation and response.
  • Facilitate the professional growth and development of International Finance Leadership Team
  • Support periodic team training (development of content and delivery)
  • Travel required, at times exceeding 25%
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required, Master's preferred
  • 10+ years' experience at a management level; multiple levels of reporting relationships strongly preferred
  • International Business experience in Europe, Canada, Mexico strongly preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of foreign bank and tax regulations strongly preferred.
  • Has extensive knowledge and experience within own function and general knowledge of areas, departments and/or function(s) within and across other disciplines
  • Manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact
  • Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business
  • Holds business acumen and leadership experience to become a top function or division head
  • Formulates a clear strategy and maps the steps to accelerate the organization toward goals
  • Anticipates and addresses the impact of key decisions strategically and financially
  • Practices effective succession planning
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)

  • Executes departmental and functional business plans and contributes to the development of discipline strategies
  • Directs the allocation of resources to meet financial performance requirements
  • Directs the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems that cross functions and/or disciplines
  • Decisions are guided by discipline and/or business strategies and priorities

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $358,220.00 - $564,195.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
