Position Involves:

NATURE & SCOPE: The essential job functions of the Utility operator is place production into Anco slicer, work the shaker table and prepared product for slicing. Make combos and labels for packing. Close cases and palletize boxed/comboed product and relieve packing personnel.

Position Requires:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Unload racks and screens of pepperoni feeding product in to Anco slicer.
• Record date and lot numbers on pepperoni racks.
• Pick up trash and keep room clean.
• Observes Tyson USDA safety and sanitation rules, utilizes proper lifting techniques to avoid injury to themselves and others, wears appropriate personal protective equipment, operates pallet jack, prepares combos, moves empty screens and racks to the screen wash area and performs other duties as required or assigned.
• Follow all instructions both verbal and written.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• perform routine repetitive tasks, bending, pulling and lifting up to 30 - 50 pounds constantly, move up to 450 pounds with a pallet jack.
• Frequently, stand continuously and walk up to ½ mile during the shift, sufficient near, far, color and depth perception vision to perform operations and work in extremes of temperature and be certified to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jack operator.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
• 3 months work history with the same employer.
• 6 months of machine operator experience.
