What you'll do...

This role will be based out of any of the following locations: Bentonville Arkansas, Chicago Illinois, Phoenix Arizona, Kansas City Missouri, Dallas Texas or Houston Texas.

The Senior Director, Walmart Health Operations will be responsible for overseeing Markets in the westcoast.

There will be heavy tactical travel to locations every other week driving strategic initiatives, training and mentoring market leaders, improving operations and overall P&L oversight. The ideal candidate will be a motivational leader with strong communication skills, with a strong business understanding of healthcare delivery in a primary care and/or dental setting.

Ensures business plans for Walmart Health services are met by evaluating the current state of the facilities; identifying future capacity and services needs; ensuring capacity needs are met; executing plan once approved by senior leadership.

Ensures compliance with safety and environmental laws and regulations in all Walmart Health facilities by training and directing associates to follow regulatory compliance standards (for example, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)procedures); communicating all compliance activities to management associates; training associates in hazardous waste removal procedures; and ensuring all waste streams are managed in accordance to EPA and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Resolves patient and associate concerns by providing decisions and resources that facilitate problem resolution; and collaborating with facilities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of patient care.

Develops and oversees operational and capacity plan budgets by leading senior facility management teams to continuously increase productivity and lower costs; developing internal key performance indicators; ensuring effective utilization of equipment; forecasting patient demands; and directing workforce planning.

Ensures compliance with applicable state, federal, and local laws and company policies to ensure the safety and well being of patients by analyzing and interpreting reports; and safety controls; overseeing safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews; developing and implementing action plans to improve performance; providing training and guidance on the execution of company procedures and policies; and directing managers and associates regarding continued HIPAA compliance.

Drives business growth for in multiple facilities by assessing changing market needs and competitive market share; and developing action plans to achieve sales and marketing goals and initiatives.

Develops Walmart Health strategic initiatives by influencing and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders; and delivering operational ready implementation plans.

Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.

Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy.

Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas.
