The Role

Individuals must have the technical skills needed to complete electrical, electronic and mechanical repairs to varied base of welding equipment.

The incumbent will set up and test semi-automatic and mechanized welding equipment, analyze and troubleshoot welding equipment problems, perform electrical/electronic and mechanical repairs, rebuild equipment and/or perform preventative maintenance on a variety of welding and welding related equipment.

Up to $2000 Sign On Bonus based on experience

$2000- for qualified candidates with 4 or more years' experience in troubleshooting and repairing Welding Machines/Welding Equipment

$500 for qualified candidates that have 1 year-up to 3yrs in troubleshooting and repairing Welding Machines/Welding Equipment

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT

Current HII/NNS Employees are not eligible for bonus

Must Have

The ability to climb ladders, work at heights, lift a minimum of 40 lbs. and work in confined spaces may be required.

Knowledge of welding processes a plus. High School or GED is preferred
