Position Summary:

The Finance Transformation and Project manager is responsible for recognizing areas of improvement within the finance department and implementing necessary changes to enable the finance team and overall CCA to perform to its optimum ability

The Manager will lead a variety of projects in different strategical areas such as business process improvement, organizational transformation, global or local IT transformation, cultural transformation and offshoring.

You are responsible for masterminding, outlining and developing projects. You design the project goals and success markers, determine how success will be measured and tracked as well as for identifying, prioritizing, and regularly reviewing a portfolio of process improvement projects. You deliver significant, verified business results (both process and financial).

Effectively collaborates with leaders, peers, and team members to enhance the finance work processes and culture. Advocates strongly for the customer at every opportunity.

Project Managers are also expected to engage in presentations to the top management level, CEO included.

This position will be responsible to:

  • Leads and facilitates the identification, prioritization, and regular review of finance processes towards global improvement and alignment of the regional finance organization towards CMA target core model Develop and maintain the internal audit procedures to ensure that best practice is taken account of and that the audits address specific areas of risk management
  • Leads finance projects and pilot implementation
  • You work in a structured way to lead and manage finance projects in collaboration with the BPM team, Finance business owners, other departments, SSC, HO.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans as well as track finance project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Promote and support change management: Collaborates and communicates effectively with peers, top management and project team members
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills.
  • Miscellaneous related duties or projects as assigned.

Skill Sets / Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years' work experience
  • Understand impact assessment of project initiatives applied to transformation actions
  • Understand business processes as part of the entire business operation
  • Recognize the interaction of processes and how changes may potentially affect other functions
  • Understand process improvement, waste reduction, process mapping, change management, organizational design, process engineering and offshoring concepts and methodologies
  • Advanced business acumen
  • Plan and implement projects of moderate to high complexity
  • Familiar with IT concepts and models
  • A project management in finance as well as change management experience is required
  • Define process improvement projects
  • Effectively utilize data analysis tools and techniques
  • Effectively use project management techniques
  • Utilize effective project and team intervention techniques
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills - written and verbal
  • Possess effective time management skills
  • Advanced facilitation skills
  • Intervene in projects to increase productivity and to accelerate outcomes
  • Anticipate potential project problems, risks, impact analysis and respond appropriately
  • Influence others to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and individuals
  • Delegate work and hold people accountable for completion
  • Design project strategies to achieve goals and deadlines
  • Proficient in Office 365 tools, MS Project or other project management software applications

Skill Sets / Education & Experience Preferred:

  • Master's Degree
  • Overall project management and business transformation experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP).
