Trade Show Manager

Our team is seeking a trade show manager to manage the day-to-day planning and execution of 70+ tradeshows, industry conferences and sponsorships. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Events, the ideal person will have strong project management experience and thrives on working with highly collaborative teams to present Waystar as a leader in the healthcare IT industry at tradeshows and events.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop event campaigns and tradeshows that contribute to Waystar's growth and brand awareness
  • Provide consistent and clear communication of events programs to all stakeholders in a timely manner, including briefing documents and logistics
  • Organize planning sessions with key stakeholders to gain input on goals and executional ideas
  • Generate ideas to support the advancement of the Waystar brand at events. Work with the marketing team to ensure brand standards are met

  • Develop scalable processes to support communication, documentation, and operations for managing vendors and communicating internally
  • Manage lead tracking and ROI measurement within Salesforce
  • Support on-site logistics, travel, and other activities as necessary
  • Work closely with the Director of Events to plan the events calendar at least a year in advance
  • Work with marketing team on external pre-show plans

  • Manage tradeshows within specified budget

What we're looking for:

  • 8-10 years total experience w/ 3-5 years in tradeshow
  • Detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work under pressure with short deadlines
  • Project management skills and experience using tools such as Wrike, or other project management software
  • Enjoy working as part of a team, strong relationship management skills, able to manage a large number of internal stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, proactive in ensuring team members have the information they need
  • Creative thinker

  • Experience with event registration platforms such as Cvent, CRM tools such as Salesforce and lead capture tools such as iCapture. Experience with marketing automation tools such as Marketo a plus
  • Ability to travel 30-40%

This role is located in SLC, Louisville, Mid-town Atlanta or Duluth.
