• Helps to maintain a safe, healthy and organized working environment for all Graphics areas, glaze line booths and inkjet systems.
• Ensures all safety protocols throughout the plant are adhered too, especially pertaining to SDS and personal protective equipment.
• Follows the plant Quality Management System, which is recommended for certification to ISO 9001:2015.
• Apply direct knowledge of Photo-Shop, Adobe and other related software.
• Evaluates and digitally edits multi-channel and RGB files performing color management on graphics to match Existing/New Products.
• Ability to work with and understand necessary color adjustments required in ceramic glazing operations.
• Able to work with corporate Marketing on product specifications and expectations, as well as be a joint partner with corporate R&D in the transfer and creation process for all new and existing products.
• Knowledge of airless and spray application process for the glazing of porcelain tile, with the understanding of effect printing would be preferred.
• Assists in the maintenance, linearization and operation of six (6) inkjet printers.
• Experience with Ceramic manufacturing process.
• Create and/or organize a digital library of all art jobs performed.
• Create and/or organize profiles required to be used as future reference.
• Assist production department on any graphic adjustment required to achieve a Target Shade, as well as analyze why shift occurred to ensure we drive to the root cause solution.
• Monitors equipment and/or processes and ensures timely reporting of any unusual problems to supervisor.
• Follows company operating procedures and policy guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Education & Knowledge:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in graphic/industrial design preferred. Knowledge of graphic production design. Advanced knowledge of Photo-shop programs on Mac Computer. Color management experience in ceramic required. Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processors to perform various analysis and business correspondence.

• 1 or more years graphic design experience in a color management and manufacturing environment.

• Ability to read and understand procedures in English. Effective communication skills, listening skills, attention to details, and ability to organize and retrieve information. Ability to manage several projects at once. Ability to work in a team environment
