Overview

Falconwood is a woman-owned / veteran-owned company providing consultation and programmatic support to Department of Defense (DoD) Information Technology (IT) initiatives and programs. We provide expert advice and consultation on a diverse range of IT subjects, focusing on acquisition, cybersecurity, engineering, logistics, and process development.

The Testing and Evaluation Analyst will support the Assistant Program Manager (APM) Test & Evaluation (T&E) in the support and planning, documenting, and overseeing the execution of T&E events such as developmental testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, cybersecurity testing and operational T&E. Test documentation includes acquisition documentation such as a program T&E Master Plan (TEMP), Integrated System Test Plan, and lower-level test plans. This is not a hands-on testing position, though hands-on test experience is valuable. This position requires an active secret clearance.
Responsibilities

• Primarily act in a governance consulting role to the Government ensuring 3rd tier vendors are performing, documenting, and reporting out all testing related efforts in accordance with industry best practices.
• Represent the Government personnel as a T&E SME
• Prepare for and participate in review teams with Government personnel, other contractors and systems integrators for program strategies, integrated schedules, test plans / scripts, and deployment planning.
• Update documentation such as Test Plans, System Test Strategy, Test and Evaluation Master Plan and other documentation to support T&E.
• Identify trends within T&E events that are impacting product delivery.
• Validate customer requirements, demonstrate requirements traceability, and evaluate objective quality evidence.
• Develop and implement T&E metrics for reporting to the Government on system(s) development efforts progress and any associated risks with proper test execution, implementation, and adoption.
• Implement high quality of service testing strategies with integrator partners, manage large volumes of test data, and support complex enterprise information systems development.
• Facilitate test scenario workshops, providing guidance regarding technical and functional requirements, resulting in detailed integrated test scenarios is required.
• Validate the proper development of automated test scripts, development of test cases/use cases, and development of test plans.
• Support the implementation and integrated test program to enable continuous development and continuous integration (CD/CI).

Qualifications

• The candidate MUST have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance
• The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering or in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
• SAP and/or ERP experience a plus
• The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience working with Worksoft, Quality Center and planning user acceptance test, regression testing, and developing automated testing.
• Must have experience utilizing JIRA to manage product delivery to include all SDLC test events.
• Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Must be capable of performing effectively individually and as part of a team.
• Must have effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with Visio preferred.
• Must be able to manage time and be on time to meetings.
• Must be able perform duties on-site, at the Washington Navy Yard (Post COVID) when required.
• No travel is anticipated.

Pay Range

120,000 - 140,000
