Alteryx is searching for a Technical Product Manager. This role can be fully remote, or alternatively work out of our office in Broomfield, Colorado.

Position Overview:

The Technical Product Manager is responsible for supporting the successful execution of initiative delivery with our customers through project management, as well as team engagement and alignment. They will manage the work and resources associated with the initiative, including crafting requirements and milestones, delegating responsibilities, tracking progress, and change management. The Technical Product Manager will define success metrics and document timelines, status, and results for each project under their direction and often work in partnership with partners and development teams to achieve success. They will champion significant projects, programs and business initiatives using demonstrated creativity and ingenuity. This position is remote-friendly.

  • Convey customer perspective and value-add during project planning and execution.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional product teams and customers.
  • Contribute to roadmaps and develop timelines to drive action and set realistic expectations.
  • Participate in retrospectives and use results to improve future iterations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in technology or business with excellent professional verbal & written English skills.
  • 1 year of specific product ownership experience in an agile environment, either directly or as a responsibility of another role.
  • Experience working closely with engineers, agile and/or scrum teams.
  • Strong project management skills, including managing a project plan and tracking actions, risks, issues, and decisions. Attention to detail is critical.
  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability of results in an end-to-end project lifecycle.
  • Organizational experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities without close supervision.
  • Ensure a good balance between feature set development and continuing resolving of technical debt.
  • Play an active role in resolving blockers preventing successful task completion.

Highly Valued Additional Skills:
  • Knowledge of Alteryx Designer and Server products
  • Exposure with technical challenges related to licensing and/or account management
  • Experience with Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence) or other work management tools
  • Customer Success, Support, or Enablement experience
  • PMP Certification
  • Agile certifications (specifically CSPO, CSM)

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Broomfield, Colorado is $88,400 - $150,300. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
