The Technical Designer will work directly with the America's Brand Communications Creative Services Team and other cross-functional stakeholders to write, design, edit, and produce quick-start guides, instruction books, recipe books and assist other Creative Team members as necessary. This position must understand print processes and be able to design within a budget and tight timeline while m anaging multiple projects and balancing workload through collaborative prioritization and project management."title":"Primary Duties & Responsibilities","content":" Leads and executes technical writing projects by leading projects with team members, producing sketches, drawings and other illustrative material according to guidelines, instructions, and specific parameters developed by, or as outlined in meetings with project stakeholders. Executes established designs across product platforms, submits rough drafts to client key stakeholders for approval and prepares final production artwork based upon feedback. Exercises independent judgment and discretion in leading and executing technical writing projects. Uses independent judgement and discretion to writes technical documents such as instruction sheets in easy to understand language and procedures. Manages and leads multiple projects at a time to meet project schedules and priorities; Communicates project schedule s and status to other departments; Works with stakeholders to coordinate and manage all project activities. Selects techniques best suited to produce desired visual effects in conformance with specified quality standards. Determines composition, view angles, perspective, projections, etc. by understanding product specifications and incorporates customer feedback into the materials. Utilizes and applies a variety of graphic techniques including line illustrations, renderings, charts, infographics, schematics and the like. Plans Basic Photography shoots planning and, retouching photography as as needed. Plans complete layouts for finished graphics, translates illustrative objectives into graphic terms. and communicates project schedules, and status to other departments. Maintains documents in a database for revision control and document sharing. Creates procedures and work instructions for project category and performs other work as delegated by the manager or the company. Assists with and collaborates with on additional Creative Services Team projects as necessary."title":"Education and Experience Profile","content":" 1-3 years' work experience creating graphic material, sketches, and drawings required. A minimum of an Associate Degree in Graphic Arts. Consumer Products industry experience beneficial, but not required. Professional experience writing step by step instructions / user guides / instruction manuals preferred- required. (Since listed as a required skill below) .
