Tech Writer

Our client in Englewood, CO is looking for a Tech Writer to assist with documentation clean up for one of their network engineering teams. This position sits in the office 3 days a week and is remote 2 days a week. We need someone with 5+ years of relevant experience and excellent communication skills.

Requirements
Top 3 Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Documentation clean-up experience in an enterprise environment
- Excellent communication skills

Plusses:
- Experience working on infrastructure teams (this team is comprised of network engineers)

Day to Day/Project:
- Researches, prepares and edits complex technical documents.
- Ensures documents meet editorial and customer specifications and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, format, and style.
- Interfaces with writers, illustrators, word processors, and subject matter specialized in coordinating and preparing the edited draft.
- Participates in the publishing of formatted documentation in various media.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technical subject matter as assigned.
- Participates as member of project team.
- Tracks project documentation through creation, approval, publication, and update lifecycle.
