Our client, a premium streaming content provider, is seeking a freelance Technical Project Manager to join the Marketing Technology team.
You will be responsible for:
Stand up an interim vendor management application for Marketing department and strategize with internal teams to align on what is needed for a long-term solution.
Develop an interim vendor management application that will be used for Marketing org to submit new vendor requests and a maintain a list of existing vendors
Research different solutions for a long-term solutions and align with internal teams on what is needed.
Build, test and deliver a long-term application that will allow for Marketing organization to use. The tool will be used for looking up contracts, tracking and reporting among other features.
Hold strategic business reviews with key suppliers and internal partners to improve relationships and services provided
Serve as liaison to internal business partners and suppliers. Building strong trusted relationships that deliver customer value.
Create and educate a new ecosystem of vendors, large and small.
Manage contracts to ensure that marketing campaign obligations are met and full value and accountability is received from the contract.
Ensure the process for renewal or replacement of existing agreement is proactively handled and scaled to accommodate growth.
Provide input regarding planning, strategy and direction of our team.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Significant and extensive experience in Vendor Management.
Technical experience building, crafting workflows, documentation, and operating a vendor management application.
Proven attention to detail and exercise of good judgment and decision-making.
Solid written and verbal communications, time management, and social skills enabling collaboration across an organization with outstanding leaders, developers and product teams.
Ability to achieve demanding timelines without requiring constant follow-up, and adapting and reordering priorities to adapt to changing requirements.
Consistent record of goal-focused and driven value expansion.
Analytical business skills to discern the value of new opportunities and present solutions to sophisticated problems.
Understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate risk
