CANDIDATE CAN RESIDE ANYWHERE WITHIN THE UNITED STATES

PURPOSE: Perform Vendor Master Functions for the Procurement Shared Services functions.

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Responsible for Vendor Master data entry for Epicor vendor masters supporting Lincoln Electric affiliates in North America.
  • Support vendor relationships ensuring compliance with FCPA (regulatory requirements). Performs annual audits ensuring vendors remain compliant. Maintains appropriates records.
  • Maintain and manage department documents (W9, W8, NDA's, Contracts, Certificates, SISs, etc.).
  • Support other Supply Management Functions on different assignments.
  • Support Compliance team and assist suppliers and manufacturers to complete required compliance data as required including obtaining and updating as necessary proper documentation to be compliant with Company's vendor withholding tax policy.
  • Perform parameter data entry function in Epicor and other developed software.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed.


  • BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Associates degree or applicable education certifications with prior experience required.
  • Training and/or business-related experience.
  • Ability to handle a constantly changing series of priorities, and to work on multiple projects with minimal instruction and supervision.
  • Must be customer service focused, while being comfortable, patient, and effective in communicating with diverse international contacts.
  • Ability to handle information in a confidential manner.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with others at all levels of the company.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with computers and software packages including Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ERP systems.
  • High level of accuracy, organizational ability, initiative, and flexibility.


  • Essential skills and experience:
  • Practical knowledge of APQP including: FMEA, Control Plans, Inspection Plans, PPAP, MSA, FAI
  • Practical knowledge of GD&T
  • Thorough understanding of Root Cause Analysis: 8D, 5Why
  • Must meet the minimum requirements of the job, as listed above.
  • Must NOT be on an active Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)
  • Problem solving skills, strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities
  • High degree of creativity to innovate process improvement ideas to challenge and effectively change current practices
  • Solid judgment and resourcefulness to deal with multiple factors impacting the business
  • Excellent teamwork interactions with employee
