Job Description:


      This newly created Supply Chain Analyst position will be based in Charlotte, reporting to the Director of Global Procurement. The successful candidate will be is responsible for collecting, analyzing, summarizing, and reporting data required for data-based strategic business decisions within the global Supply Chain organization.

      Required Skills/Abilities

      • Excellent data analytical skills including ability to collect, summarize, and communicate data
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including delivery of summarized data to leadership team.
      • Ability to learn and understand business and apply the business knowledge in data analysis and development and implementation of standard reporting.
      • Ability to thrive in an environment that is both strategic and tactical, which requires rapid learning, multi-tasking, and prioritizing in high-paced and at times, stressful environment
      • Ability to be highly-driven and self-motivated while remaining positive, productive, and professional in a corporate business environment. Capability to learn quickly and expand role within the Supply Chain/Procurement organization.

      Expectations

      • Analytics: Use Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP, Sharepoint, Excel or other tools to collect, analyze, organize business and financial data and communicate to leadership team to allow data based decisions. Examples may include analysis for global sourcing and supply chain strategies and preparation for Sales and Operations Planning discussions.
      • Process Improvement: Develop and implement standard reporting to improve the efficiency of data analytics and to allow prioritization of opportunities for improvement. Use data analysis and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement. Become super-user of the Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system to improve development/utilization of supply chain/procurement reporting within the ERP system.
      • Communication: Independently prepares and presents information and communicates finding and recommendations to peer team and leadership teams.
      • Business Acumen: Applies business knowledge in order to more effectively organize, analyze, and report data. Make recommendations based on data analysis. Create standard reporting and data collection to improve efficiency of business operations and improve cost.
      • Development: Quickly learn day-to-day business operation in order to increase value to the organization in order to advance within the supply chain and procurement organization. Ability to work collaboratively within all levels of the organization. Self-directed in developing new knowledge and skill

      Candidate Requirements

      Bachelor of Science in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or associated field of study.

      Minimum 1-3 years of experience in similar role. Demonstrated competency working with spreadsheets, databases, and ERP systems. Some basic project management experience a plus. Freight procurement experience a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
