This GC is a well-known, reputable contractor in Florida. They offer a strong emphasis on career growth and a solid pipeline of future projects. Due to their growing pipeline of work, they are seeking a Superintendent with Ground Up commercial & education construction experience located in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area.

Your new role

Key functions of the Superintendent will include - running the day to day activities of the job-site, overseeing sub-contractors ensuring job quality is kept to, managing job schedule, filing reports and site safety. You will be consistently communicating with clients as well as project managers to ensure the job is completed on time and to the highest possible specification.

What you'll need to succeed

• 8+ years of Commercial Construction experience as a Superintendent ($50MM+) with knowledge of all aspects of construction
• Proven experience of managing Education & Commercial projects - able to manage multiple operations continually and communicate effectively.
• You will be a great communicator, experience in managing clients on site is necessary
• It is essential that you are flexible and able to react to job changes positively.
• Must be safety oriented; OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 Certification preferred
