Position Overview:
Arlluk Technology Solutions is searching for an experienced Maximo Subject Matter Expert Sr. Developer who will be a member of an IT Enterprise Asset Management applications support team for a federal customer. The candidate will be responsible for the enterprise asset and work management applications, including IBM Maximo and related IT solutions. This Maximo Technical Specialist will be responsible for the analysis, design, and development of technical solutions for IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) projects. They will work directly with clients and team members on the development, deployment, and migrations to Maximo. In addition, the Maximo developer provides responsible, reliable, cost-effective enterprise asset management and information systems support by helping to design, develop and maintain software systems. The candidate will provide Maximo configuration services to support business logic as per the customer generated requirements.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
This task is focused on providing efficient and dependable support to a Federal Government Program, the overall objective is to provide cost-effective, performance based, innovative solutions that maximize the opportunity to achieve the following program objectives for the Federal Entity as follows:
Implementation of a Warehouse Management / Supply Chain Management system.
The project tasks involve Maximo development processes for Requisitioning, Receiving, and Inventory.
Requisitioning

  • The candidate will configure a Maximo Requisitioning solution as well as build a Maximo workflow engine that will satisfy the Requisitioning requirements.
  • Receiving
  • The objective is to provide Receiving configuration services to support business logic as per the requirements. The candidate will provide services to configure Maximo to support the Receiving requirements.
Inventory
  • The objective is to provide Inventory configuration services to support business logic as per the requirements. The candidate will provide services to configure Maximo to support the Inventory requirements along with a "chain of custody" requirement with this task.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Requisitioning
  • A detailed requisitioning module that allows for creation of requisitions in different methods (template, copy a requisition etc.)
  • A requisition self-service module that allows for easy requisition placement while ensuring budget checks, proper approvals, and automated workflows
  • The ability to access:
  • Previously submitted requisitions
  • Requisition status, requesting location, requisition number, etc.
  • Frequently ordered items
  • Utilize procurement templates
  • Ability to have requisitions routed, trigger an approval, an interface with third party systems.
Receiving
  • Providing users with the ability to receive shipments for orders that are placed through requisitioning module or that come from third party systems.
  • The ability to:
  • Receive all items on a PO or receive partial
  • Conduct receiving process via a mobile device
  • Create chargebacks, credit memos and ship items back to vendors
  • Ability to have approvals and conduct inspections
Inventory
Develop an inventory module that allows for physical inventory counting and increased inventory visibility/control

Ability to:
  • Set Min/Max
  • Set automatic reorder points
  • Conduct physical inventory at a pre-determined schedule
  • Have multiple groupings (Select ID) of items to streamline cycle count process
  • Track location balances and access item details
  • Generate detailed inventory variance reports upon request and automatically
  • Assist with software upgrades to the system
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management Software is required.
  • IBM Maximo 7.x application configuration and support (e.g., Maximo Integration Framework, Java, and BIRT report writing)
  • IBM Maximo 7.x installation and upgrade experience
  • Experience utilizing: Maximo Migration Manager, Workflow Designer, Application Designer and Database Configuration applications that are used to configure Maximo
Working Environment & Conditions
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
