Job Description

As a Product Analyst on the State Product Management team, you will have the responsibility to directly influence company results through analytical insights and innovative product solutions. In conjunction with their State Product Manager counterparts, Product Analysts are uniquely positioned to execute on their own insights and have the potential to observe immediate and obvious impact of their work on product results. Responsibilities:

  • Utilize strong quantitative and analytical skills to drive the profitable growth for assigned state/product lines, analyst will be responsible for 2 states.
  • Measure and communicate progress against key business metrics, identifying drivers and recommending action plans for improvement where necessary
  • Conduct local market analysis, including market size and demographics, relevance of product features, competitor comparisons, etc.
  • Monitor routine pricing metrics and lead annual pricing evaluation and changes
  • Develop three-year operational budgets and quarterly re-forecasts, including detailed documentation and summary presentations
  • Prepare presentation materials to be used for strategic discussion and decision making for a variety of audiences
  • Challenge the status quo and develop innovative analytical research
  • Understand the product coverage, basic rating algorithms, and eligibility guidelines, as well as basic operational processes
  • Engage, influence, and leverage resources across the broader organization to drive desired vision and outcomes
  • Uphold the highest standards of accuracy and integrity in the work product so as to enable sound, data-based business decisions and solutions
  • Effectively represent State Product Manager and team interests with internal and Club audiences when State Product Manager is unavailable

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-5 years Insurance, Actuarial, Product Management, Data Reporting and Analysis or related business experience
  • Advanced research, statistical, analytical, processing and mathematical skills with ability to structure and conduct analyses
  • Ability to adapt and innovate analysis with a balance between fact based decision making and flexibility of thought
  • Demonstrated success in driving high-impact analysis that requires strategic thinking, planning, and a focus on execution
  • Adaptability and the capability of multi-tasking and strong time management
  • Ability to make effective formal presentations
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic and various structured analysis and design techniques

If performed in Nevada, this position has a(n) salary range of $75,000 - $89,000. In compliance of Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be, or could be performed in Colorado. If performed in Colorado, this position has a(n) salary range of $75,000 - $89,000. The role includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 7% of eligible pay.
