Meet the team:

We're seeking a software engineer to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain iOS application software with focus on application hardening and obfuscation. You will work alongside highly skilled and passionate innovators who know how to deliver exceptional results while also having some fun along the way. Job Responsibilities: Fine-tune and harden a variety of sophisticated mobile software implementation projects to make them more resistant to attack and prevent unauthorized modifications. Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs. Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications Implement system software and customize to client requirements. Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans. Code new programs to client's specifications and create test data for testing. Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs. Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation. Provide quality assurance reviews. Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing.

Where you come in:

  • You will design and build applications for the Android platform
  • You will implement requirements with focus on tamper proofing and code hardening Android applications
  • You will maintain Gradle to secure Android applications
  • You will write and update design documents
  • You will follow internal software development procedures to comply with medical regulations, especially in the area of cyber security
  • You will interface with software test team to ensure high quality product
  • You will develop automated unit and integration tests
  • You will participate in design, code, and test reviews
  • you will perform other duties as assigned

What makes you successful:
  • You have native Android app development experience using Java/Kotlin and professional software development experience
  • You are proficienct in software development lifecycle process
  • You have a good understanding of cryptography including the principles related symmetric and asymmetric encryption methods and digital signing algorithms.
  • You have hands-on experience in developing mobile applications
  • You have strong verbal and communication skills
  • You have a high degree of diligence in documentation, testing and coding
  • You are able to identify gaps and then enable team to address those gaps
  • You have a good knowledge of PKI fundamentals and best practices
  • You have knowledge of Kotlin, Java
  • You have experience working in Agile teams using tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • You have experience using CI/CD tools such as Gradle, Github Actions
  • You have experience with version control tools such as Git, Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket and GitFlow
  • You have experience writing automated Android Unit Tests
  • You have working knowledge of Android design patterns

  • 0-5%

Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience.
  • At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.

Salary:
$141,800.00 - $236,400.00
