The Role
Moderna is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager to join our team. As a Senior Technical Program Manager in Networking and Infrastructure, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and launch of our site networking and infrastructure projects for our manufacturing, research and corporate sites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, security, and operations to deliver scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions. Your role will be crucial in driving projects from conception through deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.

Here's What You'll Do:

  • Own and manage the portfolio of networking and infrastructure programs supporting Moderna's site strategy, roadmap and delivery across manufacturing sites and corporate offices.
  • Lead large-scale infrastructure projects involving networking, data center operations, and cloud computing.
  • Collaborate with site and construction management, engineering, cybersecurity and other stakeholders to identify technical requirements and ensure alignment with business and functional objectives.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including tasks, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Design networks and infrastructure that support both current and future business needs.
  • Manage project risks, including the identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment across the board.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to senior management.

Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • Experience in site networking, IT infrastructure and software engineering, with a focus on developing scalable and performant networks in the technology, healthcare sector, or life sciences industry.
  • Knowledge of systems architecture, engineering principles, and best practices.
  • Experience in designing and developing highly scalable and performant network architecture and site networking.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform technical decisions and track performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or Project Manager in a technical field, with specific experience in networking and infrastructure.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
