Sr HR Specialist - $32/hr-$36/hr - Arlington, VA

Our client, an association in Arlington, VA, is seeking a temporary-to-permanent Sr HR Specialist to join their team!

About You:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant education (Master's degree is a plus).
• 2+ years of experience working across various HR functions.
• Nonprofit association experience/background is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).
• Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.

The Job:

• Greet guests and act as the first person of engagement for all of HR.
• Provide general administrative support for the HR Department including managing the electronic employee records, ordering office supplies, sorting department mail, and providing meeting support (scheduling/catering).
• Coordinate weekly department team meetings and new hire orientation presentations.
• Provide support with recruiting/onboarding.
• Other task/duties as required by the role.
