This position will report to the Sr. Director - Talent Acquisition and be based at our headquarters in Chicago, IL.

Ways you will make a difference

  • Build sustainable talent pipelines of top talent with a variety of resources and techniques
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership to understand staffing needs and develop sourcing strategies to meet those needs
  • Collaborate with business managers in order to define candidate profiles
  • Use traditional and innovative sourcing methodologies to identify and attract passive candidates through self-introduction, active candidate engagement, relationship building and selling Ferrara as an employer of choice
  • Generate qualified candidates through cost-effective recruiting methods such as leveraging networks, sourcing passive candidates and utilizing the employee referral program
  • Source, recruit, screen, interview, and recommend external and/or internal candidates for all level jobs, including entry level, experienced professional/technical, support staff and hourly, and people leaders
  • Ensure presentation of diverse candidate slates for consideration and encourages strategic approaches for incorporating diversity in the search process
  • Effectively create and manage a great experience for every candidate; from the first contact, through the interview and selection process
  • Participate in maintaining and monitoring vendor relationships and make vendor recommendations
  • Leverage SuccessFactors as the system of record
  • Demonstrate the Company's core values and act as a brand ambassador

Skills that will make you successful

  • Solid knowledge of HR policies and practices, all areas of recruiting and of employment laws and regulations
  • Solid knowledge of the organization's practices and procedures
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and consulting skills. Ability to partner with senior level management and consult them on all aspects of the recruitment process
  • Ability to deal with and resolve ambiguous, confidential and sensitive situations and issues
  • Planning & Organization- Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strategic orientation and effective problem solving skills
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding expectations in a results measured environment
  • Past experience building a strong professional network that can be leveraged during the recruitment process
  • Technical knowledge of cutting-edge recruiting techniques

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 4 - 6 years of sourcing, recruiting and/or campus experience in either a corporate, manufacturing/distribution, or agency setting. A combination of corporate and agency experience preferred.
  • General ATS system experience
