The Role:

The HERE Technologies' Communications team is seeking a Senior Communications Manager for North America. In this external communications role, you will help position HERE publicly as the leading platform for location data, live mapping capabilities and spatial intelligence utilized by businesses and organizations across the globe.

The company's technology is used commercially to help guide autonomous vehicles, optimize logistics for e-commerce giants, and to build digital twin models for an array of public and private sector applications.

In this role you will lead media engagement with technology, trade and business journalists in the U.S., serving as a regional spokesperson for HERE while being a part of the global team driving corporate, product and partner news.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for owning, leading and executing bi-annual external communications plans.
• You are managing the day-to-day activities of our U.S. public relations agency.
• You are working efficiently and collaboratively with peers across global Communications and Marketing teams.

Who are you?

• 8+ years of media relations, corporate communications, journalism, or PR agency experience.
• Ability to translate complex technology into external storylines, media pitches and strategic communications for owned and earned channels.
• Experience raising brand awareness in a B2B/B2B2C media context.
• Record of story placements; ideally with network of media contacts.
• Team player, someone who can collaborate with, and counsel, senior stakeholders.
