Responsible for the college/community recruitment activities as well as full cycle recruitment of outstanding talent for exempt and non-exempt positions. You will partner with Hiring Managers and Business Leaders and Talent Acquisition Manager to understand their business needs and talent needs in order to ensure the highest quality candidates are presented in the most time-effective manner. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to college/community recruitment, campus visits, community relations, sourcing, building candidate pipelines; exempt/non-exempt recruitment candidate care, driving talent attraction strategy, and candidate offers. This role will collaborate across Xellia's People and Organization strategy, leveraging critical thinking and influencing skills to resolve complex and challenging situations.

  • Develop, build and maintain relationships with identified universities, community colleges and trade schools to help recruit talent and to build an employer brand
  • Cultivate strong long-term relationships with aligned partner schools and community organization as a top source for candidates. This includes some travel to these campuses and events for career fairs and other recruiting events
  • Identify key partnerships with community groups to foster D&I recruitment activities
  • Manage and track all candidate and campus/community information, consolidate and analyze results and make recommendations for improvements
  • Source, attract, and present top talent while influencing business leader expectations on talent availability and helping them find the right balance between speed and quality.
  • Manage, develop and execute a staffing strategy for assigned businesses focused on creative sourcing methods to identify high-potential talent.
  • Build innovative strategies to attract, source, assess, and hire students for a variety of roles across Xellia North America
  • Remain current with recruiting best practices to effectively screen and extend offers of employment to successful candidates.
  • Partner with internal clients to develop and execute recruitment strategies within a high-volume, fast-paced environment, while maintaining ownership of the candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates by leveraging multiple recruiting resources and techniques to identify and engage candidates.
  • Build collaborative partnerships with hiring managers and other key stakeholders while providing a high level of customer service.
  • Provide training to internal customers regarding the recruitment process, interviewing techniques, and provide recruitment expertise
  • Utilize Talent Acquisition tools and collaborate with vendors.
  • Provide various staffing reports, analytics, and metrics to evaluate effectiveness of recruitment efforts
  • Be a thought leader on recruiting trends and help in the design and implementation of process changes
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to others on the team.
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 5 years of experience working in human resources or a professional recruiting or higher education career services role
  • Experience with college/university recruitment is required
  • Knowledge and understanding of behavioral based interviewing and candidate assessment skills
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships, consulting and influencing hiring managers regarding candidate sourcing and selection, market demographics, and broadening search parameters to improve quality of talent pool
  • Experience developing and executing recruitment strategies, preferably in a high volume, fast paced environment, with ownership over the candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Knowledge of current networking and sourcing trends
  • Current knowledge of state and federal employment/labor laws and practices
