The Role
We are seeking an experienced Functional Expert who has extensive knowledge of the R12 Oracle Financial s E-business suite of products. The primary focus for this position is that of a Senior Business Analyst with a broad expertise in Oracle Financials with a specialization in the Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, and if possible Advanced Collections. The candidate would lend their skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Work on a team as an Oracle E-Business Suite analyst who can setup, configure and support two or more of the oracle Financials suite of products. The candidate should have strong Financials support and configuration combined with an in-depth understanding of business requirements which can be translated into solution documents. Must include knowledge of the 'Core Financials’ such as GL, AR, eBTax.
We are looking for a candidate to have expertise in some of the above core areas however the ability of the candidate and their experience is most critical to our team. Ability to work at a senior level and drive strategic objectives is critical and also work on the strategic future of the financials roadmap.
The Main Responsibilities
- Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria.
- Determines methods and procedures on new assignments, and may provide guidance to other personnel.
- Perform Oracle Financials setups.
- Define new business requirements and provide gap analysis.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications for extensions, interfaces, reports and conversions (MD50s & TE40s).
- QA development/FRICE components (Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions and Extensions)
- Support production : monitor and troubleshoot , initiate and monitor system processes.
- Understanding of business process and ability to help drive resolution to issues.
- Complete application set-ups to support ongoing business and new project development.
- Development and delivery of end user training.
- Proven experience configuring Oracle 12 in the most optimal manner meeting business requirements.
- Ability to work on a cross-functional team consisting of Functional and technical personnel who work in different time zones.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years’ work experience with Financials modules. 5+ yrs of professional experience with a Bachelors degree or 2-3 yrs with a Masters degree.
- Experience in implementing Oracle Financials globally.
- R12 experience is a distinct advantage.
- Experience working in and understanding complex inter-related systems with many complex financial integrations such as banking, treasury and reporting in US GAAP and other locales i.e. LATAM , APAC , EMEA.
- Accounting background and experience a plus.
- Knowledge of Oracle modules in the Financials suite with primary focus on Accounts Receivable, Collections and General Ledger.
- Ability to work with a technical team and be able to understand and communicate technical requirements.
Skills Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Good leadership ability who can drive issue and projects to conclusion
- SQL required, Technical understanding desirable
- Project Management experience a plus
- Good team player and able to work with a diverse group of people who reside in different locations
- Self-starter who is solution and customer focused
