Bunkers Grill is our snack bar located on The Legend Golf Course and provides our guests with convenient, delicious food and refreshing beverage offerings. This job is perfect for anyone looking for fun, summer seasonal employment. Both part time and full time positions available.

Hours: Flexible scheduling available. Rotating weekends and some holiday work required. Hours may be affected by weather and time of year.

JOB SUMMARY

The Snack Bar Attendant is responsible for serving food and preparingbeverages for guests visiting the snack bar. This position is expected to greet guests and provide a positive guestexperience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist in the set-up and preparation of the snack bar for daily opening and/or properly shutting down the snack bar at business close.
  
• Assists guests by answering questions, taking food orders and preparing beverages; including alcoholic beverages.Looks for opportunities to "up-sell" products.
  
• Operates point-of-sale system and receives payment from gusts in cash or credit card, accurately counts and provides change to guests as required, and follows all cash handling policies and procedures.
  
• Provides completed orders to guests ensuring orders meet proper presentation and accuracy standards.
  
• Assists with snack bar related functions, as needed.
  
• Cleans snack bar and surrounding area clean.Removes trash.
  
• Practices proper workplace health and safety procedures.
  
• Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

• Partial High School education required. High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  
• Ability to learn and operate a point-of-sale system and credit card equipment.
  
• Outgoing, friendly and posses good guest service skills.
  
• Team oriented; courteous and cooperative
  
• Ability to pass cash handling and TIPS training.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• As the seasonal business depends on the weather conditions and volume of business, scheduled work hours may fluctuate due to the nature of the business. The Snack Bar Attendant must be available to work flexible hours including some weekends and holidays.
  
• Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently.
  
• Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  
• Ability to stand for the entire work day.
  
• Ability to work in a range of temperatures depending on the weather.
  
• Reading and writing work-related documents in English.
  
• Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English.
  
• Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.
