DraftKings is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Android to join our engineering team. You will be working on our well-reviewed Android application used by a large and passionate group of users. You'll be a creative contributor to our processes and be involved in delivering features and enhancements that transform our rich set of REST APIs into a fun and engaging Android app written in Kotlin & Java. In your role, you will be engaged in the entire Agile development lifecycle from design and implementation, to testing and monitoring. What you'll do as a Senior Software Engineer:

• Work in a team environment to design and build new features for our Android applications.
  
• Care about agility as much as you care about scalability. We roll out products very quickly and are looking for a team that can pivot at a moment's notice.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and develop new features across DraftKings' portfolio of products.
  
• Connect with other engineers on your team to code review, functional test and release our Android builds.
  

What you'll bring:

• Ideally, 3+ years of development experience in Android using Kotlin and Java. Knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, and C# is a plus
  
• You have a knowledge of OOP and REST design fundamentals.
  
• You have experience writing and maintaining a comprehensive suite of unit and integration tests.
  
• Possess a passion to design, build and polish innovative applications.
  
• Knowledge of Gradle, Compose, Dagger/Hilt, and AndroidX is preferred
  
• Ability to mentor other engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and over-the-shoulder debugging.
