Nucor Towers and Structures (NTS) is a new entity within Nucor, the largest recycler and largest manufacturer of steel and steel products in North America, focused on the execution of our strategy to "Expand Beyond" our core business. As a part of Nucor's New Markets product group, NTS is focused on the exciting growth potential in the power distribution market. Current production facility is in West Hazleton, PA, with plans to build a national footprint.

This position is in the NTS Headquarters in Rock Hill, SC and is not a remote position.

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Towers & Structures is seeking a creative, forward-thinking, process-minded leader to join our team. The Senior Scheduler responsibilities will include but are not limited to: developing and refining processes and procedures to support Operational development, reporting, and analysis, serving as a business unit subject matter expert for the implementation of a new ERP system, supporting the ongoing maximization of ERP functionality, taking on ad-hoc reporting and analysis projects, and serving as a strategic, operational lead for our business.

The successful candidate must be well organized and able to work both independently as well as participating actively as a teammate. The successful candidate must be able to collaborate with leadership in order to identify and prioritize projects, as well as management of multiple projects at once. Although this role will not immediately have direct reports (potential as the business grows), strong leadership skills are needed to lead project teams, both internal and external, in the execution of critical business initiatives. The Senior Scheduler will continue as the primary ERP resource for planning & execution of the strategic alignment in support of production planning, procurement, inventory control and transportation. This position will report directly to the Materials & Logistics Supervisor. This position will be mainly located in our Rock Hill Headquarters but will also require travel to our production facilities on an as-needed basis.
