WSFS Bank is currently seeking a Senior Relationship Manager for its Middle Market group. The Senior Relationship Manager manages commercial banking relationships for companies with annual sales typically between $20-150MM+ total exposures of $5-30MM+. Companies will primarily be family-owned but also PE-owned, and incumbent needs to be comfortable working with companies who have alternative tranches of capital (e.g., mezzanine financing). The incumbent has overall responsibility for retaining and expanding existing commercial relationships, as well as developing new commercial relationships. This may involve the sale and servicing of credit and non-credit products. The incumbent attends to the needs of customers seeking loans or lines of credit on terms that involve significant amounts of unsecured funds and/or credit secured by mortgages and other business collateral. Additionally, the incumbent will sell and service non-credit products, including cash management, Capital Markets (Interest Rate Derivatives, FX and Trade Finance) and Wealth products and services. This position serves as the "gatekeeper" for other Bank products and services. The incumbent will interview customers and prospects to understand information concerning their business needs, financial condition and performance to determine whether a loan may be an acceptable risk as defined by the Bank's credit policy.

The incumbent partners with credit Associates such as Portfolio Managers in the development and analysis of financial background data for new or renewed loans. The incumbent makes decisions on loans and terms within assigned individual lending limits, partners with line of business or credit administration personnel to approve credit under dual signature authority, or makes recommendations to senior loan committee for approval. The incumbent calls on businesses to develop new relationships with prospective clients, as well as retain existing business, and promote additional bank services to current clients. The position relies on self-generated referral sources (i.e., CPAs, attorneys, investment banks) to develop new opportunities. In collaboration with a dedicated Portfolio Manager, the incumbent will track existing loan portfolio to ensure complete conformity with terms and covenants, monitor and identify developing trends or early warning signs of problem credits, perform timely risk assessment based upon this information, update loan systems and customer credit files with assessments, and perform annual reviews.

This position will be located in Wayne, PA, Wilmington, DE or Philadelphia, PA.
