Job Summary:

This position is responsible for leading the strategy, management and implementation of mergers and acquisitions activities in conjunction with the leadership team. Works closely with the leadership team to develop and execute the long-term strategic planning process for the organization, serving as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team supporting special projects.

Successful candidates require an analytical mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills to analyze, present and make recommendations to executive leadership team. Must be highly motivated to learn the business and deliver exceptional work with the desire to work closely with a variety of different team members, external advisors, investment bankers and potential acquisition targets representing the company.

Ideal candidates should have Corporate M&A Experience .

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Leads overall mergers and acquisition activities in conjunction with the executive leadership team

  • Researches and analyzes potential acquisition candidates, performs competitive analyses, and identifies trends and developments in the industry

  • Develops financial models to evaluate potential acquisition and divestment opportunities and helps determine appropriate valuation methodologies and sensitivity analysis

  • Conducts due diligence and uses this information to develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports and presentations regarding the impact of a transaction on the organization

  • Leads integration workstreams coordinating regular communication and integration activities with both internal department leads and target company leaders

  • Directs strategic long-range planning process to ensure continued successful growth and profitability

  • Prepares and presents the corporate strategic plan to senior management and the Board of Directors

  • Coordinates input and directly assists all major business units with their strategic plans and integration with the corporate plan

  • Serves as strategic partner to executive leadership team supporting special projects including: tracking and analyzing financial benchmarks, macroeconomic drivers, strategic initiatives to support investor relations, strategic planning, and operations

  • Other duties as required


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Corporate Development, including strategic planning and acquisitions

  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA strongly preferred

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, negotiations, and communications

  • Required: strong corporate finance skills and experience with the ability to create detailed financial models with appropriate analyses and forecasts

  • Transactional experience also required

  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in Corporate Development, including strategic planning, and Investor Relations

  • Up to 10% travel may be required



  • Applicants could come from Investment Banking, Private Equity, Accounting, Consulting or Corporate with experience in one or more of the required areas

  • Prefer someone familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
