The Senior Engineer Water Operations Process provides technical support to Plant City operations team and other concentrates facilities across the BU. The main focus is on optimization of various water treatment processes for process water and ground water, including limestone treatment, reverse osmosis optimization, alternative treatment systems and development of water volume reduction /quality initiatives across the BU. This role will also support developing and leading new technical projects (front-end engineering for capital projects) related to reducing environmental liabilities.

What will you do?

• Provide process engineering support to operations group including plant optimization, troubleshooting, efficiency improvement, problem solving, and overall improvement of water treatment systems overseen by the Process Water Operations and Optimization group (Plant City and BU).
  
• Work with multiple internal and external team members and across various groups within the BU.
  
• Support critical BU initiatives in process water management and reduction of environmental liabilities.
  
• Work closely with the water balance team to understand system requirements across the BU, lead and develop new projects in order to maintain water balance and to reduce Mosaic's environmental liabilities.
  
• Provide front-end engineering development of capital projects including planning, identifying business objectives, identifying and evaluating viable options, preliminary design development, and preliminary economic and risk mitigation evaluation.
  
• Provide commissioning and start-up support for assigned projects.
  
• Ensure site safety and environmental standards are being followed through safety risk audits, risk assessments, and housekeeping tours.
  

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
  
• 10 years engineering experience in the chemical process industry.
  
• Experience with Microsoft Office: emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  

Bonus Points if You Have the Following:

• 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
  
• Technical experience in industrial water treatment systems.
  
• Professional Engineer license.
  
• OIS, PI, Maximo, Minitab, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Process Control Systems experience.
