Our highly-talented engineers are engaged on diverse, fast-paced and challenging projects within multidisciplinary teams. Our projects cover everything from design of high-temperature optoelectronics with complex DSP algorithms, miniaturized low-power sensors running embedded software and Automation systems using PLCs and robots. You will have opportunities to work closely with clients and take on problem solving responsibilities working in partnership with our multinational project teams.

As well as working on client projects, our engineers are also encouraged to propose and participate in internal projects to investigate new technologies and to develop new applications for existing technology. Your career will never die on the sustaining engineering vine when you join our team.

Our engineers contribute to projects across all markets, including consumer electronics, fluidics, wireless communication systems, industrial automation, consumer healthcare, smart implants, biotechnology, and more.

As a Control Systems Engineer, You Will

  • Develop both architecture and implementation of embedded software, HDL code or automation systems
  • Cooperate on analog, digital and mixed signal circuit designs, wiring and schematic diagrams
  • Support the scoping of new projects by understanding client requirements and identifying technical challenges
  • Participate in the development of system architectures and detailed designs in collaboration with engineers from other disciplines
  • Work on teams producing IoT and IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) devices and products with flexible connectivity using multiple communications links (e.g. BLE, Wi-Fi, 5G)
  • Produce and implement test plans to evaluate technologies and verify product functionality against requirements.
What You Need To Succeed

We need someone who can take a lead in developing devices and using them in a variety of environments from industrial automation to consumer products.
  • An undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • 2+ years of industry experience, preferably in product design or technology exploration
  • A strong understanding of fundamental software development tools and principles
  • Understanding of basic electronic principles and circuit analysis
  • Ability to work independently/in small teams
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Core Skills And Experience
  • Experience developing code that interacts with hardware directly.
  • Experience with embedded software and firmware development
  • Test and measurement experience with DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment
  • Knowledge of Python for processing test results and test and measurement automation
  • Experience with multitasking and distributed processing
  • Knowledge of communications standards and protocols such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and ZigBee
Even Better
  • Experience with Real Time Operating Systems
  • Experience with Industrial Controllers, PLCs or robot controls
  • Experience with FPGA development
An advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a related field
