Senior Director Corporate Finance

Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), the Senior Director of Finance for Enterprise Cost and Business Analysis will have responsibility for corporate investment governance, enterprise standard cost processes and enterprise aftermarket decision support. This role has significant exposure to the Corporate CFO, Senior Vice President of Finance, Vice President Corporate FP&A, and the Group CFOs.

What you will do:

  • Effectively lead a diverse team, focused on talent development, succession planning and performance management.
  • Provide enterprise leadership for corporate investment governance, standard costing processes and aftermarket decision support.
  • Ensure appropriate and effective presentation of information and insights to leadership. High visibility role with presentations to the CFO, SVP of Finance, VP of Corporate FP&A, and the Group CFOs.
  • Drive partnership with senior leadership, corporate accounting and segments to gain appropriate alignment and understanding of key requirements and outcomes to drive profitable growth.
  • Collaborate across corporate and segment teams to ensure an enterprise focus is maintained.
  • Champion the finance transformation and continuous process improvement within Enterprise Cost and Business Analysis
Skills needed for success in role:
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
  • Organization Structuring: Understanding of the value of aligning team capabilities with business goals and ability to develop staff, processes and operational relationships that support optimal performance.
  • Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
  • Stakeholder Management: Expert level ability to systematically identify stakeholders, analyze their needs and expectations, and engaging with them to achieve objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
  • Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results.
  • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills are required in order to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific action.
  • Strong business partner with the ability to build relationships and partner across functions to help drive the business.
Additional Information:
  • Location: Irving, TX or Peoria, IL
  • Travel: Up to 20% as needed
  • Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify.
