We are currently seeking a Senior Copywriter for our website at Constant Contact. In this role, you will report to the Head of Creative and be instrumental in shaping the copy and messaging on our website. Your primary focus will be on auditing and revamping the existing content to enhance the overall digital experience. As a key player in our creative team, you'll guide marketing clients through our digital landscapes, strategically determining the what, when, where, and how of communication. This is a remote-first US position. Or, if desired, you can work in a hybrid model from one of our offices in Boston, MA, Waltham, MA, or Gainesville, FL. Whatever you need to be successful!

What you'll do:

  • Partner with Product and Marketing to develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for the company's website, ensuring alignment with overall brand messaging and goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and developers, to create engaging and user-focused website content.
  • Lead the creation of impactful copy for landing pages, product descriptions, and other web elements that drive user engagement and conversion.
  • Conduct thorough research to stay informed about industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into website copy.
  • Edit and proofread website content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior copywriters to elevate the overall quality of website content.
Who you are:
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience at agencies, studios, or in-house, with a focus on website content.
  • Portfolio showcasing successful website copy projects and a strong understanding of UX/UI principles.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality content.
  • Excellent people and soft skills; ability to inform and influence colleagues (particularly those in senior level roles), cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to effectively communicate ideas with cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise with Google Suite and familiarity with working/commenting in design software such as Figma
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Preferred:
  • Understanding of SEO best practices for creating content and writing metadata
  • Demonstrated ability to create compelling content strategy deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to recommend and conduct content research and testing
