Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for managing all aspects of setting up and tearing down audio visual equipment for meetings in conference rooms throughout the campus and conference center.

Must have strong customer service skills to support and facilitate internal associate, executive, and client meetings that require the AV Tech to be present and to stay for the duration of a meeting (if required).

Must have ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and AV system components.
Job Description

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Pay: $72,900
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)
• Responsible for meeting and greeting internal and external customers using in-house AV resources.
• Setting up AV equipment per EMS application to include, but not limited to, laptop and resident PC projection systems, teleconferencing resources, video conferencing resources and supplying assistance for guest Wi-Fi to clients.
• Ability to Troubleshoot and repair non-working integrated equipment internally first, then work with outside vendor if required.
• Integration of kiosk media via network to installed DMP units within facility.
• Assisting senior executives during annual company meetings with all audio & visual needs including but not limited to, audio, videoconferencing, troubleshooting company issued equipment, etc..
• Weekly preventive maintenance checks to in-house equipment.
• Report to supervisor and reservations status of conference rooms usability if problems occur.
• Track system failures and archive repair records.
• Assist with other conference center functions such as furniture set ups and room reservations if required.
• Establish outside resources for equipment and freelance personnel, when additional expertise and specialized equipment is requested.
• Partner with internal IT department personnel and outside vendors to develop and implement plans for outdated AV equipment company wide based on technology roadmaps.
• Maintain consistency across all sites for equipment, processes, and standards by working with Facility Managers and Techs.
• Travel may be required.
• Recommend and manage large scale implementation projects from the proposal stage to completion.
• Maintain and order equipment supplies based on inventory needs i.e. cables, chargers, remotes, etc. within an established budget.
• Configure PowerPoint presentations for proper aspect ratio and font display.
• Create and update information on how to operate system controls as well as document standard operating procedures for training purposes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-7 years' experience in event production, educational, hotel or TV studio environment.
• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certificate preferred but not mandatory.
• In depth knowledge of integrated AV systems including Crestron controllers, Extron switchers, Polycom, LED/LCD displays, video projectors, audio mixing consoles and PA systems.
• Proficiency with current PC and Mac OS platforms.
• Normal office working conditions.

The compensation for the position is: $61,965.00 - $72,900.00
