Senior Accounting Consultant

Our client, a non-profit located in Boston, MA, is seeking a Senior Accounting Consultant to join their team! This will be slated to last about 6-9 months long. The Senior Accounting Consultant will be responsible for cash receipts, biweekly payroll reconciliation, grants & contract billing and reporting. This role will also assist the Vice President of Finance with the preparation of financial reports and budget forecasts as needed. Additional responsibilities:

• Accounts receivable
• Review contract billing vouchers
• Prepare monthly invoicing
• Report daily cash to senior management team
• Manages petty cash
• Set up new grants
• Maintain records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred!
• 4+ years of experience in nonprofit accounting, A/P, A/R, billing and journal entries preferred
