Role Overview

We�re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting Team who is proactive, self-directed with strong technical accounting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a high-growth global environment that spans across various systems and processes. You�ll work cross-functionally and collaborate with key business partners to support existing and new business initiatives, while ensuring that processes adhere to GAAP and internal controls you�ll have a part in developing.

100% Remote position - requires ability to work independently and within a team. Occasional travel will be required. Must be flexible in adapting to a non-routine and fast paced environment.

The Salary Range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000. If this is not the right level for you, please check out our other postings.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the close process by preparing journal entries in accordance with US GAAP, account reconciliations, and performing variance analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Responsible for assisting with the project accounting function and related financial activities
  • Various jurisdiction tax notifications � triage and resolution of items
  • Systems process improvement and documentation of processes
  • Incentives reconciliation process revamp
  • Project Management of centralizing bank accounts and functions
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements including reconciling and analyzing intercompany accounts related to foreign subsidiaries.
  • Perform variance analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts to identify and investigate unusual fluctuations
  • Payroll JE�s or oversight
  • Assist in preparing external reporting packages
  • Research accounting or reporting issues identified
  • Assist in the Company�s annual audit process
  • Monitor the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Assist with business planning and or manage special adhoc projects and processes.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor�s degree in accounting or finance
  • 6+ years of progressive financial reporting experience with strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Possesses advanced Excel skills and strong working experience with ERP and Consolidation/Reporting software

Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA preferred, or in process
  • ERP experience with NetSuite
