Senior Accountant

Compensation: $28.37/hour

POSITION PURPOSE

The Senior Accountant is responsible for completing various accounting related functions as assigned by the Assistant Director of Accounting and Treasury/Senior Director of Finance.

This is a remote-work position open to candidates anywhere in the state of Missouri.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC

• Journal Entry preparation, entry and posting
• Balance sheet and other reconciliations as assigned
• Assist with financial reporting
• Assist with cost accounting
• Grant and donation management as assigned
• Assist with annual audit and budgeting
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION(S): EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required

QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel, & Dynamics GP a plus
• Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills
