Job Description

As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role as a servant leader and coach for our Consultant team. Your mission is to guide the team in adhering to Agile principles and practices, ensuring seamless execution of the Agile process. By eliminating impediments, fostering high-performing team dynamics, and promoting continuous improvement, you'll empower the team to self-organize, self-manage, and deliver results through Lean-Agile practices. Your expertise will reinforce Scrum rules, quality practices, and process agreements established by the team. Collaboration and transparency across internal and external stakeholders will be key, as you facilitate progress toward daily team and iteration goals aligned. Additionally, you'll lead relentless improvements through retrospectives and problem-solving techniques, cultivating a culture of technical discipline and craftsmanship to enhance deliverable quality.

Must-Haves

• Local Presence: Candidates must be based in Cincinnati.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities.
• Agile Background: Strong experience in Agile methodologies.
• Scrum Master Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Scrum Master.
• Data Product Teams: Any exposure to data-heavy product teams would be advantageous.

Nice-to-Have

• Complex Enterprise Experience: Previous Scrum Master roles in large-scale enterprises.
• Agile Environment Exposure: Familiarity with Agile practices from other roles (e.g., quality assurance, development, product owner, or agile coach).
• Agile Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to coach and mentor the team effectively, fostering their growth.
• Collaboration: Comfortable working with diverse personalities and all levels of the organization.
• Technical Awareness: High-level comprehension of technical issues and effective communication of Agile methodologies.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional communication, organization, and time management abilities.
• Team Management: Proficient in managing multiple Agile teams, balancing PMO, business, and technology priorities.
• Creativity and Problem-Solving: Self-motivated and efficient in proposing solutions to complex challenges.
• Analytical Acumen: Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
