Duties and Responsibilities:The Counseling Psychology program (CPSY) in the School of Education at Loyola University Chicago, announces a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank. Primary responsibilities include teaching, research and service in Counseling Psychology. The selected individual will join faculty in the program's APA-accredited doctoral program and the School's CAEP-accredited master's programs, all of which are shaped around the School's conceptual framework of social action through education.
The selected individual will teach master's and doctoral courses in counseling psychology, provide advising support to graduate students, supervise doctoral dissertations, and have an active research program. Areas of teaching, research, and advocacy interests and experience are open. The candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to serving a diverse student body and profession along with alignment with Loyola University Chicago's commitment to advancing social justice through transformative education.
Required Qualifications include:
Earned doctorate from an APA-accredited counseling psychology program and established research program.
