Baer is looking for SAP S4 PPDS Functional Lead for a 12+ month Remote project.

Title: SAP S4 PPDS Functional Lead
Location: Remote (Must be based in US) + Travel to IL or NJ
Duration: 12+ Months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 Only (C2C Not Permitted)

Description:

• Lead the design and configuration of the SAP S/4 PPDS module to meet business requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, and translate them into functional specifications.
• Design and implement PPDS processes, including production planning, detailed scheduling, and capacity planning.
• Manage and lead PPDS implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to project timelines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including ABAP developers, Basis, and functional consultants, to ensure integrated and cohesive solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the SAP S/4 PPDS module.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PPDS related issues, and implement enhancements and optimizations as needed.
• Work closely with the SAP support team to resolve any system-related issues and ensure system stability.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs, priorities, and challenges.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing updates on project status, issues, and resolutions.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and other team members on PPDS functionalities, best practices, and processes.
• Create and maintain documentation related to PPDS configurations, processes, and solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in SAP PPDS module with at least 3-5 years in SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Strong understanding of production planning, detailed scheduling, and capacity planning processes.
• Experience leading PPDS implementation projects from design to deployment.
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA PPDS configuration, including master data setup, scheduling parameters, and integration with other SAP modules.
