About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Sales Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with municipalities, local government bodies, and related organizations. Your primary goal will be to promote and sell our products/services tailored to meet the unique needs and challenges of municipal clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of municipal operations, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research on the municipal sector, identifying key players, market trends, and potential opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within municipalities, local government agencies, and related organizations.
  • Stay abreast of our products/services and their applicability to municipal needs. Effectively communicate product features and benefits to potential clients
  • Understand the unique challenges faced by municipalities and tailor our offerings to provide effective solutions. Collaborate with the product development team to ensure our products meet municipal requirements.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for targeting municipal clients. Set realistic sales targets and timelines, and consistently monitor and report on progress.
  • Prepare compelling proposals and presentations that address the specific needs of municipalities. Work closely with the sales support team to create customized solutions.
  • Lead negotiations with municipal clients, addressing concerns and objections. Close teams in a timely manner while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless experience for municipal clients.

Skills and Experience needed:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, with a focus on municipal clients.
  • Excellent understanding of municipal operations, policies, and procurement processes.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
