Keystone Job Corps is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety and Security Advisor to join our team. As a Safety and Security Advisor, you will have a crucial role in ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of our students and staff. Responsibilities:

  • Security Oversight:
    • Implement and enforce safety and security protocols to safeguard the well-being of students and staff.
    • Conduct regular security assessments and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Emergency Response:
    • Develop and execute emergency response plans to address various scenarios.
    • Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services to ensure a swift and effective response.
  • Surveillance and Monitoring:
    • Utilize security systems to monitor and assess the campus environment.
    • Investigate and report any suspicious activities promptly.
  • Training and Education:
    • Provide safety and security training for staff and students.
    • Conduct drills to ensure preparedness for emergencies.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders:
    • Collaborate with other departments to address safety concerns and implement preventive measures.
    • Foster positive relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed records of security incidents and actions taken.
    • Generate reports to communicate security-related information to the management team.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. Prefer Job Corps or related program experience. Must possess a valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements.

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and /or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
