Position type: Full-time Contract
Duration: 12 months
Location: Tyler, TX 75707
Shift: day shift during training (6:30am to 3:00pm), training is expected to be less than 2 months and then 3:30PM to midnight, M-F + Saturday as needed

As a HVAC Quality Assurance Technician, you will:

• Use hand tools, data, blueprints, and critical thinking to maintain and calibrate our test equipment.
• This includes and largely consists of troubleshooting and repairing industrial instrumentation (low voltage/high accuracy/high voltage electrical systems & closed loop refrigeration systems).
• Use spreadsheets, FTP, and web applications to maintain accepted measurement boundaries using statistics.
• Use software to get data, report it as needed, analyze it for anomalies, trends, and/or outliers, and use critical thinking to identify problems, find root causes, and propose viable solutions

The ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in an industrial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously (must be able to self-direct) and reach objectives.
• Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office documents, emails, and spreadsheet.
• Demonstrated competency with bench top test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators and/or serial data analyzers

Pay Range*: $24-$25 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
